‘Hillhead’ between Byres Road & Woodland Road is populated with students looking to be within a stones through away from Glasgow University and the buzz of Ashton lane. There are great bars, restaurants close by and the Grosvenor Cinema shows all the latest films with the comfort of large leather seats!
Mainly housed by traditional tenement flats ranging between one to three bedrooms, there are also several large townhouses and a couple of modern developments. Average Rents are high with 1 beds from £525, 2 Beds from £650 and 3 Beds from £850PCM. Most properties have very small communal gardens and parking can be extremely difficult.
Within Hillhead there are a high number of HMO’s (houses in multiple occupancy), namely large 4 to 5 bedroom tenement flats/townhouses appealing to students and young professionals due to their proximity to the University. HMO’s are in high demand and with average room prices around £350pcm.
