Should you have an emergency situation out of normal office hours we would ask that you contact the relevant tradesman directly (please note the tradesmen will use their discretion as to what is classified as an emergency)
Search through our website to find the right property for you, like us on Facebook to get updates ( Priority Previews!) on newly available properties or simply give us a call! We’ll set up a viewing with you and start the rental process. We appreciate that everyone has busy lives so we do viewings 6 days a week 9am- 7pm.
Step 2: Secure the property
If you decide the property is the right one for you (see applying for a Fineholm Property) we require a holding deposit (£250) which secures the property for you. This forms part of your security deposit. You will then receive our terms of rental.
Step 3: Credit Checking Process
We require full credit checks on all adults over the age of 18 who will be living in the property. You may supply your own references or we can put you in contact with a company called Referit who will provide us with references and credit checks, with no hassle to you other than filling in a form ( small fee applies) The completion of this process should take no more than a week – but remember we need applicants to provide the right information! Once completed we will contact you to arrange a lease signing at one of our city centre offices.
Step 4: Signing the lease
Your scheduled appointment will take approx 30 mins and we require photographic ID and proof of current address. As standard we take one months rent in advance and one months rent deposit.
Step 5: Moving in
Before moving in you will be issued with full tenant information, an inventory of contents and condition, a set of keys for each leaseholder and instruction for future payment. In Glasgow each property has a dedicated maintenance manager – you will be advised at your lease signing.
Step 6: During your tenancy
Fineholm are your first point of contact for any issue relating to a managed property. We will do our very best to resolve any issues you may have. If you have any maintenance (email@example.com) or other issues to report please contact us.
Step 7: Ending your tenancy
Once we have received adequate notice to end your tenancy we will send you correspondence advising of the procedure and date and time of your termination appointment. At this time a fineholm representative will visit the property to check you out, we would advise you to be present at this appointment. Please click here to view our moving checklist.
Just wanted to thank Fineholm for the help and support during our first ever tenancy arrangement we’ve had. Fineholm really helped whilst I was going through job changes and the help received with upgrades to the property where always dealt swiftly and professionally, appreciate everything that has been done for us whilst we was in the property for 3 years and will certainly look to Fineholm again if we decide to rent again.
Connor Barham (Tenant)
Because of your help I could finally settle down and continue my study in Scotland. Please allow me to express my sincere thanks and appreciation
Thanks for your help with all this...I've actually been really impressed with Fine Holm throughout. If and when I'm back in Glasgow I will certainly be in touch
Martin Calvert (landlord)
I have used fineholm for over 4 years as a landlord and any problems I have had has been dealt with quickly and efficiently by all members of staff and I hope to maintain this relationship in the years to come..
