    The Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Bill was passed by the Scottish Parliament on 17th March 2016. The aim of this; to create simpler tenancies and shift the type of tenancy from contractual to statutory; instead of a Short Assured Tenancy we will now have a Private Rented Tenancy.
