Here are the figures behind a recent buy to let purchase we made on behalf of one of our acquisition clients.

This client is based in the UK and knows Glasgow well, however she doesn’t have time to look for properties to add to her buy to let portfolio. Her aim is to generate a reasonable income from her portfolio which will supplement her pension income when she retires. This client uses a 25% cash deposit and 75% buy to let mortgage to fund her investments.  Her requirements are a good yield- over 7% – in a stable area – with good tenant demand.

We sourced her a 1 bedroom property in Dennistoun – it’s a low rise flat in a residential area close to the train station, shops and a park. A popular area for students, young professionals and is close to a large hospital.

This completed in early April, we did some basic works, sourced furniture etc and found a great tenant who took entry on early May.
