What’s happening for Fineholm landlords while the office is closed?

While the offices have to remain closed and we are unable to carry any physical appointments, we are still here to help and do as much as we can. Many of the team are working hard at home  – which has been a tricky task given we have no work from home experience! (Big thanks to the team @ Russell Hamilton who helped so much)

If you are a landlord with us:  

RENT  – our accounts team are working very hard as you would expect. We are trying to help tenants as much as we can if they are struggling to pay rent at this terrible time – so many have been affected  – it’s been fantastic to see so many landlords offering help with rent delays/reductions and holidays.  Rents received will be processed as normal.

CHECKING OUT OF A PROPERTY –  we are doing virtual checkouts where possible.  One of the team will arrange a video call with the tenant to go through the inventory and discuss the deposit return. This can only work if the tenant is still occupying the property. We will explain the process in more detail if this applies to you.

INSPECTIONS – we are still doing inspections where possible – but virtually! One of the team will arrange a video call walkthrough with the tenant and compile their report from that call.

MAINTENANCE ISSUES – our maintenance departments are working from home and can be reached by both tenants and landlords.  We still have emergency cover and contractors have confirmed that they will attend to these calls as and when required – please note this is for emergency calls only at present.
